If so, the Synod of the Northeast’s Emerging Gospel Community Grant may be just the opportunity to help your vision come to life. We are here to help you take the first step.
The Synod of the Northeast, in conjunction with the Synod’s Hispanic Caucus, is excited to invite you to a Spanish translation of an informational Zoom webinar designed to walk you through the application process for the Emerging Gospel Community Grant. This uplifting session will offer insight, inspiration, and practical tools to understand the grant criteria, help navigate our grant application system, craft a compelling proposal, and discern how God may be calling your emerging community to something new.
Led by our Grant Coordinator, Michael Yeoman, this presentation will feature Spanish translation by “Crystal García Medel - a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church (PCUSA), serving at Príncipe de Paz in Cliffwood Beach, NJ.
She is a dedicated Spanish teacher at Newark Collegiate Academy (KIPP NJ), where she also serves as the department chair for Spanish language. She is passionate about language, culture, faith, and equity in education.

Esta sesión edificante ofrecerá ideas, inspiración y herramientas prácticas para comprender los criterios de la beca, navegar el sistema de solicitudes, redactar una propuesta convincente y discernir cómo Dios puede estar llamando a tu comunidad emergente a algo nuevo.
Este seminario será dirigido por nuestro Coordinador de Subvenciones, Michael Yeoman, y contará con traducción al español por Crystal García Medel, anciana gobernante en la Iglesia Presbiteriana (PCUSA), sirviendo en Príncipe de Paz en Cliffwood Beach, NJ.
Crystal es una dedicada profesora de español en Newark Collegiate Academy (KIPP NJ), donde también es jefa del departamento de lengua española. Le apasionan el idioma, la cultura, la fe y la equidad en la educación.
