What Is Our Impact?

In 2013…

the Synod approved its current New Way Forward vision. The vision would change how the Synod governed itself and lived out its mission. Since 2013 the Synod has focused on creating diversity that points to God's Kingdom, developing networks, empowering young leaders, and ministry innovation. Creating unencumbered spaces for the Holy Spirit to work among our Gospel Communities has become the tagline for the Synod's future direction. Ten years later, we are evaluating the impact of the New Way Forward vision as the Synod plans for future ministry. Psalm 48:12-14, "Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers, consider well her ramparts, view her citadels, that you may tell of them to the next generation. For this God is our God forever and ever; the Almighty will be our guide even to the end," is the foundational text for our evaluation process.
