Big News! The 2026 Synod of the Northeast’s Innovation Grant Application Opens This January!
We are thrilled to announce that the 2026 Grant Application cycle will officially open on January 15, 2026. All application materials are now available in English, Spanish, and Korean!
The Synod of the Northeast seeks to invest in, nurture, and celebrate the powerful stories of projects, mission, witness, and ministry that transform communities by the Gospel. The Innovation Grant was created to support creative new ministries that emerge from our Presbyterian communities and mobilize them to engage deeply with their neighbors in ways that spark authentic, person-to-person relationships. These projects become a learning lab for the entire Synod as we discern together how God is calling us to connect, serve, and grow in this present era.
This cycle calls forth leaders and communities who are ready to dream boldly, take faithful risks, and explore fresh expressions of ministry. Successful proposals will reflect the Synod’s Innovation ethos:
Is truly creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial.
Mobilizes the Presbyterian community to engage with its neighbors, bringing a fresh and vibrant experience of Christ’s love to both the local and Presbyterian communities.
Exhibits an experimental edge, offering learning, discovery, and inspiration for both project participants and the larger Synod community.
Under the Synod’s updated funding model for 2026, Innovation Grants will now provide $10,000 in the first year, with an additional $15,000 available in the second year, contingent on demonstrated progress and sustainability.
This new structure shifts our approach from transactional funding to mission-aligned outcomes, encouraging grantees to pursue:
Meaningful, measurable impact
Sustainable ministry practices
Greater capacity for long-term growth
Stronger alignment with the Synod’s mission and values
By fostering accountability and deepening our shared commitment to transformative ministry, this model enhances innovation, strengthens impact, and supports congregations as they faithfully respond to God’s call.

¡Se abre este mes de enero!
Nos complace anunciar que el ciclo de solicitud de subvenciones para 2026 se abrirá oficialmente el 15 de enero de 2026. ¡Todos los materiales de solicitud ya están disponibles en inglés, español y coreano!
El Sínodo del Noreste busca invertir, fomentar y celebrar las poderosas historias de proyectos, misiones, testimonios y ministerios que transforman las comunidades mediante el Evangelio. La Beca de Innovación se creó para apoyar nuevos ministerios creativos que surgen de nuestras comunidades presbiterianas y movilizarlos para que se involucren profundamente con sus vecinos de maneras que despierten relaciones auténticas y personales. Estos proyectos se convierten en un laboratorio de aprendizaje para todo el Sínodo, ya que discernimos juntos cómo Dios nos llama a conectarnos, servir y crecer en la era actual.
Este ciclo convoca a líderes y comunidades que estén dispuestos a soñar con audacia, asumir riesgos con fe y explorar nuevas formas de ministerio. Las propuestas seleccionadas reflejarán el espíritu innovador del Sínodo:
Es verdaderamente creativo, innovador y emprendedor.
Movilizarán a la comunidad presbiteriana para que se comprometa con sus vecinos, aportando una experiencia nueva y vibrante del amor de Cristo tanto a la comunidad local como a la presbiteriana.
Mostrarán un carácter experimental, ofreciendo aprendizaje, descubrimiento e inspiración tanto a los participantes en el proyecto como a la comunidad sinodal en general.
Según el modelo de financiación actualizado del Sínodo para 2026, las subvenciones para la innovación proporcionarán ahora $10.000 dólares en el primer año, con $15.000 dólares adicionales disponibles en el segundo año, siempre que se demuestre el progreso y la sostenibilidad.
Esta nueva estructura cambia nuestro enfoque de la financiación transaccional a los resultados alineados con la misión, animando a los beneficiarios a perseguir:

2026년을 위한 대교구의 새로운 보조금 지원 구조에 따라, 혁신 보조금은 첫해에 10,000 달러가 지급되며, 2년 차에는 프로젝트의 진척도와 지속 가능성이 입증될 경우 추가로 15,000 달러를 지원받을 수 있습니다.
이 새로운 구조는 거래적 지원 방식에서 사명 중심의 성과 기반 접근 방식으로의 전환을 의미하며, 이를 통해 보조금 수혜자들이 다음과 같은 방향을 추구하도록 장려합니다:
