SUPPORT SENATE BILL 2925 RE: TRAFFICKING
The Synod's Public Policy Advocacy Network encourages Presbyterians in the Synod of the Northeast to email and fax letters to United States Senators supporting Senate Bill S.2925 "Trafficking Deterrence and Victims Support Act of 2009." This law would provide crucial fudning to develop and enhance comprehensive, collaborative efforts to combat the commcerical sexual exploitation of children in the United States. Child victims are severely overlooked in most state approaches to fight human trafficking. This bill would help correct the imbalance.
