The Presbytery of Utica met in stated session on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church, Ilion, New York. At that meeting, the Presbytery voted to concur with Overture 24 by the Heartland Presbytery to the 218th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to ‘Direct the Director of the General Assembly Council to reinstate the Office of Environmental Justice in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) as a vital and integral part of the ministry and mission of the Church to help protect and save God’s creation.’
