Massachusetts' Governor's Proposal on Introducing Casinos to Massachusetts

The following is from the Massachusetts Council of Churches regarding their governor's proposal to introduce casinos to Massachusetts.

No Casino

This coming week, Holy week, will be a critical time of decision for House members of their legislature regarding the Governor’s proposal to introduce casinos to Massachusetts. Their Council has made significant efforts on behalf of their member denominations and the well being of the citizens of the Commonwealth to defeat this proposal.

They are asking that you immediately respond in addressing this critical issue.

They invite you to sign an open letter drafted by the Reverend Robert Massie at rkmassie@rcn.com as an affirmation of your opposition.
